Give your Books a Chance

Epina has developed a technology which enables digital access to printed books (e.g. as a supplement to printed copies, or for making avaibable books which are out of print). The technology known as pixLibris exceeds the functions and possibilities of similar processes. In addition to substantial navigation aids, it offers a full text index and the possibility to create links within the scanned pages (as well as links to Web pages). Using the pixLibris technology, it is now possible not only to digitize printed books but also document files, photocopies, outlines and drawings. pixLibris applications are based on the Coimbra document database, which serves as an inexpensive and efficient tool to produce digitized books.
